They say, “If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? Shall not that land be greatly polluted?”1 “But thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me,” saith the Lord. Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou has not been lain with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou has polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.

Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain2; and thou hadst a whore’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.3 Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, ‘My father, thou art the guide of my youth’? Will He reserve His anger forever? Will He keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.4

Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.5 How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?6 “How shall I pardon thee for this? Thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses. They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbor’s wife. Shall I not visit for these things?” saith the Lord. “And shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?”7

“As a cage full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.8 They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.9 Shall I not visit for these things?” saith the Lord: “Shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?”10 (Jeremiah 3:1-5,4:2&21,5:7-9,27-29)

Oh, read it for yourselves, I pray you. Some time between 627 and 580 BC, the young prophet Jeremiah spoke these words against Israel, declaring her sins on the very edge of tolerance for even our most gracious Father. Yes, even Israel, the chosen of Yah, was in danger of falling from grace. Even the promised seed of Abraham, who were promised eternal favor, even they had turned away too often from His face, and were rebuked “with breath like fire.” Yet Israel did not repent. “But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.” (Jer 5:23) Note that Yah did not leave His chosen people, rather THEY were revolted by His ways, and left.

For this reason Yah declared that they must suffer destruction. Only by the spoiling of their way of life could the individuals repent and be saved. As a system, they were beyond repair, because of their own choices. “To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the Lord is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.” (Jer 6:10) Indeed, everything needed to show the great apostasy present in the SDA General-Conference body is held firmly in these first chapters of a single prophetic book. In the quote above, I outlined ten articles whereby Israel of that age and the “remnant church” of this age are paralleled. I pray you follow me along these explanations, accept it yourself, and publish it wheresoever you can.

Article 1: “If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? Shall not that land be greatly polluted?”
The Book of Deuteronomy has an injunction concerning the marriage covenant (Deu 24:1-4), whereby a woman once married to a man, who has been put away and later takes a second husband, can never again remarry the first, should the second die or also divorce her. Jeremiah quotes it here to show the principle applied to spiritual matters. Deuteronomy 24:4 declares that the land itself becomes polluted by such an act, a result seen from such sins as the activities in Sodom, or when Abel’s spilled blood cried out to the Father from the defiled earth in Genesis.

A serious matter indeed, and in spiritual terms, the entire religious atmosphere becomes polluted by such an awful action. The parallel is this: in 1 Corinthians chapter 6, Paul declares the church a body separate from civil authority. We are surely under the laws of the land, but we are never to use the court system to impose our beliefs, wrong or right, on others. Christianity is about free will, or it is about nothing at all. How can those free in Christ seek to bring the will of others under subjection to their rules? Such a thing should not be.

Has not the General Conference of the church done this in trade marking their name? Have they not defrauded the very government from which they seek protection? The Trademark Law of the United States contains the specification that a trademark is that which “identifies and distinguishes the source of the goods or services of one party from those of others;” in other words, it has to be an original title, or a previously unclaimed usage of an existing word or phrase. Have they not defrauded their members? By subjecting their adherents to participation in this vile crime, they not only misuse their tithes for the persecution of Christians who cling to the name GOD gave them, but they also deny this fact themselves. A Seventh-Day Adventist who agrees or goes along with this lawsuit matter declares that the General Conference has made a correct statement by saying that they created the name “Seventh Day Adventist,” that God has not previously created that term and claimed it for His church by His authority. They deny the basic tenet of their faith that God gave them the name. One cannot simultaneously believe that God gave the name SDA to the last church AND hold the position that the General Conference has the legal right to trademark it as if they had coined the term themselves; by the very doing of it one denies his faith.

Article 2: “But thou hast played the harlot with many lovers... Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain”
What significant language! Any Seventh-Day Adventist can tell you what the “latter rain” is. In fact, while most churches who DO believe the return of Christ is imminent are either awaiting a mysterious, sudden Rapture, or for persecutions to begin without warning, the SDA doctrine is the only one I am aware of which heeds the concept of the Latter Rain as described in the book of Joel.

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.” (Joel 2:28) Just as the outpouring of the Spirit at Pentecost marked the beginning of the mission of the Gospel, the “former rain”, so shall the end of it be marked by the Latter Rain (see Jer 5:24). No less significantly will this great work be ended than how it began, “And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire, and pillars of smoke.” (Joel 2:30) No other church awaits this outpouring as does the SDA, believing it can fall any day now, and that it will seal them into sinlessness, away from the power of temptation and Satan’s influence.

Whereas they are right about the effects of it, this sealing is the result of a conscious process. Not on earth or in heaven will individuals be forced to not commit sin. Were Yah that kind of King, Satan would have been blotted from existence and we could all have been spared a LOT of trouble. There is NO slavery of any kind in the Kingdom of Righteousness. The “slaves to righteousness” spoken of by Paul in Romans 6:18, also interpreted as “servants of righteousness,” are all there because they want to be, because they have “obeyed from the heart,” as the author says in the verse just before.

The Latter Rain gives us the power to choose always to remain free from known sin. There is no force involved, it is merely a continual reliance upon the grace and example of Christ, and we do not await His return to begin our eternity, it starts as soon as one accepts the “Victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” (1 John 5:4) It also empowers us to handle the true gifts of the Spirit. As Joel says, prophecy will be the continuous gift to the true church until the very end of time on earth. The Book of Revelation concurs with this. “And the Dragon was wroth with the Woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” (Rev 12:17) The angelic revelator who showed these things to John explained what this testimony is, for in Rev 19:10, John records, “And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, ‘See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren, that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.’” (Rev 19:10)

Why is this coveted gift not yet falling upon the SDA church? Why, because Israel has “played the harlot with many lovers.” Revelation continues to explain Jeremiah’s prophecy. Chapter 18 declares that the true followers will separate from this woman, who commits fornication with the kings of the earth, buying and selling (trading) with the unjust, and glorifying herself. (see Rev 18:5-19) For her mingling with the “kings of the earth” she is made impure, and does fall. Twice in Revelation is it declared, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen.” In Rev 14:8 and in 18:2. But the nature of the fall is different. In the first fall, she is a “great city” that forces unjust ordinances upon those who would worship the Creator. In the second fall, she “is become” a cage for flying creatures, those same that were released to call forth those from the previous Babylon.

Yet just as with the beast, the second Babylon is an “image” to the first. Not by force of death, but by seeking to control conscience are they imposing the mark and the image of the mark. The same spirit, that of the Dragon, is employed by both. Early SDA writer Ellen White commented that the church was NOT Babylon. So it was not, and she was perfectly right that at the time it was under the grace of Christ. Yet she never said the church could not fall, could not BECOME Babylon. In fact, she warned more than once that if those in power in the church organization did not live up to the light it was given, and did not cleanse itself from sin as an organization, it was in danger of becoming a very sister to the already fallen religious system (e.g., in regards to homosexuality in Testimonies on Sexual Behavior, p.188).

Just as Paul prophesied that errors creeping into doctrine would pollute the Apostolic church resulting in the revealing of the “man of sin,” so did Mrs. White declare that an exact image of this would be formed as the rejection of the call to sanctification continued. And so it has. As it was in the beginning, so it has come to pass as the end draws near.

Article 3: “and thou hadst a whore’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed”
Jeremiah’s prophecy continues to zero in on the cause of the apostasy. The Mark of the Beast is placed in the forehead of those who consciously decide to worship the image set up by the Beast (Rev 14:9). It may also have been said by Jeremiah that the fallen organization has a “whore’s hand,” but that implies service: following along. The prophecy here is for the leaders – those in authority, and they who are directly responsible for this abominable turn of events. The leaders may also repent, but they would need to humble themselves as would any other, and “come out of her.” (Rev 18:4) So far, however, those in charge of the General Conference’s Trademark lawsuits have “blasphemed the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores (the damage they have imagined was done unto them by those using the SDA name without their permission), and repented not of their deeds.” (Rev 16:11)

Furthermore, they have “refusedst to be ashamed” of their whore’s forehead. According to transcripts of the court case in Florida, where the General Conference pursued a suit against the “Eternal Gospel Seventh Day Adventist Church” in Miami: Robert Nixon [the lead in-house General Conference attorney managing the Trademark lawsuits] was asked, “Don’t you believe that religious liberty will some day be taken away?” He simply shrugged his shoulders as if he was not sure that might ever happen. “Don’t you realize that what you are doing could help start it in America?” No response. (U.S. Federal District Court, Miami, FL. March 13-16, 2000)

Article 4: “Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, ‘My Father, thou art the guide of my youth’? Will He reserve His anger forever? Will He keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.”
Would that the General Conference had repented when they had the chance! But the records show that they purposely hid their legal actions until it was no longer possible for the main body of the Church to protest their dark purpose. For 7 years they concealed their bid to trademark the name, until finally revealing it as a done deal. “The General Conference Corporation of Seventh-day Adventists, on behalf of the entire denomination, HAS REGISTERED under the United States trademark laws the name ‘Seventh-day Adventist’ and a variety of the church’s programs and services...” (Ministry, Dec. 1988, Article: “General Conference Trademark Policy”). In 1988, 144 years after 1844, when the judgment of the dead began, did judgment pass to the living members of the church. I will examine what his means in a following article.

Behold, “on behalf of the entire organization” has this worldwide trademark law gone into effect, and on behalf of every member of the SDA church are loyal, commandment-keeping Christians fined, dragged into court, and thrown in jail. All suffer for the consequences, unless they actively remove themselves from the guilty organization. Just as the sin of Adam led to death for EVERY man, woman and child save those who repented and accepted the atonement of Christ, just as the sin of Korah led to the destruction of every member of his household save those who separated themselves from the offenders, just as the sin of one man, Achan, led to the defeat of the entire Israelite army – so will Yah’s frown be upon those who transgressed the spirit of the Sabbath rest until the offenders be destroyed.

“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, ‘Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.’” (Rev 16:1) Just as with the sin of Adam, the earth itself suffers for the transgression of the few. As the blood of Abel cried out unto Yah from the earth, so does creation groan for this great disobedience. But the angel in Revelation 18 calls you out “that ye be not partakers of her sins, and ye receive not of her plagues.” (Rev 18:4) All are guilty under the denomination’s sin, just as every man is guilty under Adam’s sin, but for our ignorance, a redemptive way was made to escape punishment. We must separate from the world and its seductive covenants, and return to the “guide of our youth.” But the church as it now stands cannot come with us. It is a twice-married woman, and cannot again be joined unto its previous husband.

Article 5: “Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.”
Yes, the land itself is spoiled, and the very atmosphere of worship in the once proud bastion of Christianity is polluted by the abomination of desolation. The SDA church cannot keep youth in its doors, for of the six young people among which I was baptized in the early 90s, EVERY ONE fell out. And the older, who remain, do so out of tradition, often holding the writings of early church founders as being on a higher level than even the Scriptures, to which they were intended to lead. The spirit of prophecy has dried up and died, passing unto those who keep the Law of love in both its letter and spirit. The latter rain falls even now, but the General Conference has put up a legal shield, and hides the church under its “umbrella” of an apostate corporation. “And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.” (Rev 18:14) Is this not the very double of what was prophesied by Jeremiah concerning the last days?

And what is meant by the “tents and curtains” being spoiled? Consider what occurred when the Jews had the civil government crucify Christ. “And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.” (Matthew 27:51) Read this verse duplicated in Mark 15:38 and Luke 23:45. Not two, but three witnesses testify to this most significant event. Upon the chosen people turning to civil authority, THE GLORY OF THE PRESENCE OF YAH LEFT THEM. Even the evidence of the glory’s HOPE was destroyed. So it is now, because of the pride and presumption of those placed in charge of the church, the veil is again rent, and those who would remain faithful must be called out of the fallen system. Consider that after the veil in the temple was blasted in two... complete destruction of the temple followed soon after (about 40 years later in 70 AD).

Article 6: “How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?”
The “standard” is Christ, and the sanctified life He offers to us all. “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.” (1 John 4:17) Perfection in love, boldness in judgment, being even as Christ was... what are these things but the very message of the Victory? Shall not Christ Himself descend with a Trump (1 Th 4:16)? The Trumpet blast is the resurrection, which those who have overcome sin, and like Christ have condemned it in the flesh, will obtain if dead. And if alive, they are taken to the Kingdom without needing to pass under Sheol’s dominion.

I need not say too much about the Trumpet of Victory in Christ, for indeed all of my writings point to this. But the significant point here is the phrase “how long.” Soon, and no one yet knows how soon, the call of mercy will cease to sound in the ears of those who have not yet made their decision, those who delay taking a stand for Yahshua. Soon the cries of those being persecuted will reach the ears of the Throne, and all of heaven will be silent while He listens (Rev 8:1-3). His answer will be by fire, and by plague upon those who have oppressed His faithful children, and a very different trumpet will begin to sound. There will be no victory for those who persist in sin, there will only be the judgments blown out by the seven angels in Revelation 8:6.

Article 7: “How shall I pardon thee for this? Thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods... “Shall I not visit for these things?” saith the Lord. “And shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?”“
The SDA church had the message of three mighty angels to bring to the earth. Yet instead of the mighty flying creatures which angels are, they instead became “like a silly dove without a heart.” (Hos 7:11a) They sought instead the power of the state, the civil world, “they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.” (Hos 7:11b) Because of this great evil, as if there were no God to defend them, Yah says, “When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the Heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.” (Hos 7:12) It is any wonder, then that it “is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird?” (Rev 18:2)

But the prophet Hosea does not end there either. “They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.” (Hos 10:4) But that cannot be the SDA, some will say. We, who have been favored with the truth, how can this befall us? Are we not the remnant people of God? Yah replies, “Israel shall cry unto me, “My God, we know thee.” [But] Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him. They have set up kings, but not by me; they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made idols, that they may be cut off.” (Hos 8:2-4)

Article 8: “As a cage full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.”
Again the analogy of birds is given. The gospel is a message that is to be preached with speed and power. Notice also, that in every prophecy given concerning the last days, birds are depicted as being in bondage, and always is a connection made with riches, greatness... earthly power and fame. The gospel cannot fly if it is captured. Those who seek financial gain for its own sake, and who seek a name for themselves at the expense of Christian integrity build a golden cage with which to ensnare the angel of the church.

“Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named ‘chief of the nations,’ to whom the house of Israel came!” (Amos 6:1) The minor prophets all seem to testify to this principle. If Israel turns to the ungodly for comfort, it has put away Yah as a husband, and it will call down judgment upon itself. Furthermore He will now call another, more virtuous bride from the wreckage of what is left. There WILL be a marriage celebration for Christ the Lamb, even if those first invited will not come because of a desire for worldly goods or fame or power. See Luke 14:15-24 for the Messiah’s teachings on this principle.

By choosing to use up not only time better used for the spreading of the Gospel, but also the TITHE in order to support the expenses of the trademark lawsuits, the SDA church under the General Conference has NOT done the work entrusted to it by the Almighty. “In the balances of the sanctuary the Seventh-day Adventist church is to be weighed. She will be judged by the privileges and advantages that she has had. If her spiritual experience does not correspond to the advantages that Christ, at infinite cost, has bestowed on her, if the blessings conferred have not qualified her to do the work entrusted to her, on her will be pronounced the sentence: ‘Found wanting.’ By the light bestowed, the opportunities given, will she be judged.” (Ellen G. White, Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 8, page 247).

Don’t think it can’t happen that the SDA church could join Babylon in its apostasy. It was the early leaders’ constant warning that this was an eventuality greatly to be feared. It was not only possible back then, it was something to be warred against with utmost effort! Now look again at the evidence before you: don’t think it HASN’T happened. Don’t think the three angels have not crashed to earth, and the birds are now caught in golden cages, awaiting the trumpet to sound, releasing them to do their work of spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom to all the world. But alas, the key is no longer reformation; prophecy demands we be separate from the old woman. (once again, Revelation 18)

Article 9: “They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.”
Lest I wear out my poor reader with repetitive doctrine, perhaps I should alter my focus a little with this ninth article. Even prophecy was designed to be read and understood by everyone. Scripture is meant to be studied, this is true, but it’s concepts are not too advanced for anyone to grasp.

“Love your neighbor as yourself,” Christ taught. Upon love for Yah and one’s fellow man is ALL the Law of Heaven based. Every detail, every minute regulation outlined by any book of the Bible is designed to lead its followers only to this truth: that we understand Yah’s salvation if we have in us the spirit of self-sacrifice and a humble desire to seek the good of others at least as much as we seek our own. Forgetting all other doctrine, we must strip away laws and rules. We must transcend all the “thou shalts” and the “thou shalt nots” in order to get at the utter simplicity of the Father.

Our minds cannot grasp the infinity of God, not because He is too complicated to be understood, but because He is too basic, too simple, to be contained in a finite mind. Adam, at the first instant of his existence, understood. He needed only to grow into a deeper understanding of the nature he already possessed. Lucifer, as the exalted archangel, understood only joy at his creation. A right study of Scripture will result in wisdom, which will lead to insights, which will cut into our minds. They will strip away the illusions cast upon us by Satan and sin, leaving us with the innocence of Adam: a return to the nature of the first Creation – that which was in harmony with Heaven and its principles.

The saints will judge the world for a thousand years with eternal minds and eternal eyes – eyes and brains infinitely YOUNG compared to what they will grow to be in the coming, countless ages. They will look upon the actions of the General Conference of the SDA church and will ask ONE, SIMPLE question: “What hungry hath their actions fed? What sick hath their persecutions made well? What prisoners hath their judgments made free? What lonely hath their convictions comforted? What unlearned hath their actions taught? TO WHAT PEOPLE, OH FATHER, HAVE THEIR ACTIONS REVEALED YOUR LOVE?” In the language of Heaven, it will be one question, but it will mean all those things. It will rise to a loud cry before the end of even THIS world. Let any who stand with the Conference be prepared to face the questions of the saints, and the faces of those who have been jailed and fined for holding onto their faith. That one question will separate all the sheep from the goats. We, who call for them to answer that question now, already have the mind of Christ.

Article 10: “Shall I not visit for these things?” saith the Lord: “Shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?”
A study of the Bible will often begin with basic concepts and build upon them to more complicated truths. I have been shown that this is not often an effective way to do things. Let the people see first the doctrine, the Word’s teachings on the matter, and then lead them backwards, to see the basic, underlying and common-sense reasoning behind it. The Word is Yah’s voice, it is therefore sound logically, scientifically, philosophically... in all ways perfect. Jeremiah’s prophecy is set up in such a way that it speaks plainly enough. There will be no questions in the Day of Judgment, and as we approach it, so too must our doctrine be refined in fire.

All the “helps” are burned away, leaving only the gold within, the nucleus of all there is. If a thing is based upon love, it is of Christ. If a thing is based upon anything else, it cannot be of divine origin. The General Conference will be weighed in the balance, and it will be found wanting. The Scriptures bear witness against it. The writings of its own early leaders bear witness against it. The continuing spirit of prophecy bears witness against it. The saints of the judgment will bear witness against it. In matters of utmost importance, there are not only two witnesses, but four.

Four gospels witnessed the life of Christ. Four dedicated Seraphim bear witness to the glory of the Throne of Yah. When Yah declares His displeasure with those who would use His name to persecute others, and when He asks, “Shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?” four witnesses reply, “Amen.”

“Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, Oh Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.” (Rev 15:3,4)

David.
